Candlelight Yin is a gentle, mostly floor-based class where postures are held for several minutes at a time. The pace is slow. The lighting is soft. The goal is simple: create space. Space in the hips and spine. Space in the breath. Space in your nervous system.
Yin targets the deeper connective tissues through long, supported holds, allowing muscles to soften while the body gradually opens. This slower approach encourages the shift from stress mode into a more restorative state, supporting better sleep, reduced tension, and improved mobility over time.
Expect a calm atmosphere, minimal transitions, and plenty of options to support your comfort. You do not need to be flexible, experienced, or “good at yoga.” Just bring yourself and a willingness to slow down.
