This 60-minute small-group yoga therapy session is designed to gently support relief from neck and shoulder tension by addressing common stress-holding patterns, improving awareness, and restoring ease to the upper body.
Unlike a traditional yoga class, yoga therapy is slow-paced, individualized, and responsive to how your body feels in the moment. In this session, we’ll explore accessible practices that may include gentle, therapeutic movement, breath awareness, guided rest, mindfulness, and optional sound support—always with choice and adaptability.
The small-group setting allows for personalized attention while still offering the support of shared experience. The focus is not on flexibility or performance, but on understanding how tension develops in the neck and shoulders and learning practical tools you can use in daily life to reduce strain, improve posture awareness, and support relaxation.
This class is ideal for anyone who:
Holds chronic tension in the neck, shoulders, or upper back
Experiences stiffness or discomfort related to stress, posture, or screen time
Feels overwhelmed in faster-paced or large yoga classes
Wants simple, effective tools to release tension and support ease beyond the mat
Is curious how yoga therapy differs from traditional yoga
No prior yoga experience is required. All practices are gentle, supportive, and adaptable.
